CGCA 107th Annual Dinner
Ave Maria Lane,
28th February 2020
Stationers' Hall is in Ave Maria Lane, London, in the heart of the City of London, close to St Paul's Cathedral. Stationers derives its name from the stalls of 'stations' set up by manuscript writers and illuminators around St Paul's Cathedral. Because of this they were given the nickname 'Stationers' and this was the obvious choice of name for the guild they established in 1403. The present hall was started in 1670, after the original hall was destroyed by The Great Fire.
