Decade Reunion Luncheon

The Decade Reunion Luncheon takes place in late November each year, and provides an opportunity for members from every decade (that left 10, 20, 30, etc, years ago) to return to College and share memories with their contemporaries. A great atmosphere is guaranteed and attractions include short speeches from representatives of each decade, City & Guilds videos and appearances by Boanerges, Spanner and Bolt. Attendance levels are usually impressive, but you are welcome to boost the numbers from your year by encouraging your classmates to attend.

The Decade Reunion Luncheon is organised by David Law (Mech 1969).

Join us for the 2014 Decade Reunion Luncheon

Attention all who graduated at Guilds, or RCS in a year ending in a ‘4’ - the 2014 ‘Decade Reunion Luncheon’ is arranged specifically for you! This event will be follow the pattern of our traditional CGCA Decade Reunions, first held in 1979, allowing plenty of time to chat and share nostalgic memories of time spent at College. The Luncheon will include three courses, coffee, and wine, with aperitifs available from a cash bar. Between courses we will hear personal reminiscences - one from a representative of each year; so volunteers, or recommendations for entertaining speakers, to ‘bring back a few memories’ would be very much appreciated. There will be representatives from the present College Student Union, together with Boanerges, Spanner & Bolt, and sales of memorabilia etc. Tours of the campus may be arranged, according to demand on the day.

These luncheons have proved very successful for over a quarter of a century. We are confident that you will enjoy an enthusiastic and nostalgic afternoon, and look forward to meeting you. Please note this is a 100% CGCA Event, and is separate from the Imperial College Festival in May – we hope you may find both events enjoyable!
